Hello! I’m Aubrey.
I am a mother, a daughter, a friend, a lover, an intimacy-seeker, a trust-builder, a connection-grower, a question-asker, and a touch-explorer. My identities include being disabled, AuDHD, kinky, queer, gender nonconforming, and nonmonogamous, and are continuously evolving. I have survived sexual assault, poverty, domestic violence, and generational trauma. The joy I’ve found and the healing I’ve done has been through being loved and learning to love, and my purpose now is to hold that space for others through awareness and experiential learning. I am a whole person who brings my authentic Self to this work with you.
My desire to know and understand people started very young. A child asking a hundred questions can be bothersome… but over the decades I’ve developed the wisdom and skills to bring a deep, loving curiosity to my interactions with people. As I grew in my relationship to my Self and learned to show up authentically for others, I began to notice common threads in the personal struggles that they were facing with their own Selves, their bodies, and their relationships. That brought out my natural curiosity and my innate desire to help and was the catalyst for me to seek out more specific ways of being present for the people I loved.
I’ve leaned into personal experience and intentional studies to build a robust toolbox for teaching, coaching, and exploring, and I’ve had the great honor of walking with many folks on their journey towards authentic, nourishing relationships.
Sometimes we don’t have the right answers, but together we can ask the right questions and dive in to find the wisdom that you and your body already hold.
My approach includes elements from somatic awareness, sensate focus, mindfulness, nonviolent communication, parts work, and attachment styles. I believe that the more we learn, the more tools we have for whatever comes our way.
